U.S. Congressman Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05), center, met a group of former participants in The Center’s youth programs, including Rogers Scholars and Rogers Explorers, at an Aug. 11 event at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg during which university President Dr. Jim Taylor received a “Hal Rogers Difference Maker Award” for his role in the initial vision that led to the creation of The Center’s Rogers Explorers youth program. The event was held in the Hal Rogers Technology Center classroom on campus.
