Rogers Scholars Reunion “live” at Master Musicians Festival

By • Jul 24th, 2007 • Category: Events

Fifty graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program made the trip back to Somerset, Ky. to attend the group’s annual reunion event. One of the highlights for the returning Scholars was the special “Roger Scholars Reunion Tent” which held down a prime spot at the 2007 Master Musicians Festival (MMF) allowing them a shady place to renew friendships and create new ones with Scholars from other class years.

Shown enjoying the reunion and MMF music are (front l/r): Tera Addis of Floyd County, Kala Means of Wayne County, Lindsay Ray of Clinton, (back l/r) Jon Preneta of Jessamine County, Chris Yates of Adair County, and Lucas Beattie of Pulaski County.
