On Nov. 9, the Pulaski County High School DECA along with FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, FEA and Drama clubs, held their annual “Share A Story Night and Entrepreneur Fair.”
All the children in the community were invited to visit Pulaski County High School and participate in all the fun.
While there, the students watched a Berenstein Bears play, made bear masks and puppets, and could be seen having their picture put on money.
Science Hill and Pulaski Elementary School students enjoyed a laugh watching their principals kiss a goat because they reached their reading goals.
The kids were also able to see Ronald McDonald and listened to stories read by coach Johnny Hines and Mrs. Mardi Montgomery.
Then at the end of the night, each child received a book for coming and left with a smile on their face.
The Entrepreneur Fair was a huge success with 34 various booths to shop from. The booths included everything from handmade ornaments and jewelry to a silent cake auction and ice cream sundaes. There were awards given out for the “business” showing the most profit made that night and the best looking display.
The booths were created by students from Pulaski County schools with
104 total students involved with the fair. Overall, the event was a great success. One hundred and eighty-six elementary students attended the event that night and enjoyed the fun-filled evening.
